Who is your primary care practice for? We specialize in older adults and those managing multiple chronic conditions who need comprehensive family medicine.
Do I need a referral? No referral needed to become a patient.
Do you accept new patients? We periodically accept new patients based on capacity. Contact us to inquire about current availability.
Can I walk in without an appointment? No. All visits must be booked in advance.
What if I'm late or need to cancel? Arrive 10 minutes early. If you're more than 10-15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule. Cancel with 24 hours notice to avoid a missed appointment fee.
Why can I only discuss one issue per visit? To give each concern proper attention and stay on schedule. We're happy to book follow-ups for additional issues.
Can I get same-day appointments for urgent issues? We do our best. Call early in the day. For emergencies, call 911 or go to the ER.
Do I need a valid health card? Yes. Your OHIP card must be valid on the day of your appointment, or you'll be billed directly.
What's covered by OHIP? Annual checkups, chronic disease management, acute illness treatment, and medically necessary assessments.
What's not covered by OHIP? Forms completion, sick notes, travel consultations, uninsured services, and cosmetic procedures.
Why do I need an appointment to renew prescriptions? Medications require regular monitoring for safety and effectiveness. Book 2-3 weeks before running out of refills.
What if I need care after hours?

What if I already have specialists? Great! We coordinate with your existing specialists and serve as your central medical home.
Can I also access your wellness programs? Absolutely! As a primary care patient, you can add any of our integrated wellness services. Our team will coordinate everything seamlessly.
How do wellness services work with my medical care? Your physician and wellness team collaborate regularly to ensure all services support your health goals and medical treatment plan.

Do I need to be a primary care patient to use wellness services? No. Anyone can access our wellness programs without being enrolled in our family medicine practice.
Can I book multiple services? Yes. We can coordinate your schedule across different services for your convenience.
What if I need to cancel? Please give 24 hours notice to avoid a cancellation fee.
Are wellness services covered by OHIP? Family medicine services are covered by OHIP. Advanced functional medicine, specialized testing, and wellness programs are private services with transparent pricing provided upfront.
Do you offer packages or payment plans? Yes. We offer wellness packages that bundle services at discounted rates, plus flexible payment options.
Do I need a medical clearance to start fitness training? Our onsite- physician will conduct a thorough assessment and adapt programs to your needs.
How often will I need to come in? Flexible scheduling based on your personalized plan and goals.

Clinic Policies
What behaviour is expected? Respectful communication, arriving on time, and following agreed-upon treatment plans.
What behaviour is not tolerated? Abusive language, aggressive behavior, repeated missed appointments without notice, or disruptive conduct. These may result in termination of services.
